Hello and welcome to episode 7 of The Ortho Plug. The podcast where I get to speak with some of the most successful, inspiring and really just coolest orthopedic surgeons in country. And one thing that makes them particularly special, is they either come from underrepresented backgrounds, or are actively supporting those that do. This is an amazing episode where I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Vince Morgan - PGY 3 orthopedic surgery resident at Rush University. We all say we’re passionate about service, but Vince truly embodies this, particularly for his home and the Chicago community. He shares his story, tons of wisdom for students wanting to get to where he is, and given that we’re in the thick of interview season, he also highlights a few things current applicants can do to succeed on interview day.
